Landscape Designer
Certified in 2005 by New York Bronx Botanical Gardens, Pauline has been gardening since she was 13 years old living in Greece. She is also certified in Permaculture design from the Maya Mountain Research Farm in Belize, has taken workshops in Edible Forest Gardening with Dave Jacke and Eric Toensmeier, and has studied the principles of growing food with the Bio Nutrient methods established by Dan Kittredge at the Bio Nutrient Food Association. Pauline believes a healthy soil system is the foundation to all health. Pauline co-founded Garden Sitters with her dear friend Michele DuRivage in Katonah NY. Ms. DuRivage still manages that business in the Bedford and Pound Ridge area.
In 2016 Pauline moved to Belize, Central America where she owned and operated a sprawling 57 acre farm in the jungle. She developed a deeper understanding of the symbiotic relationships between plants, animals and humans, and learned even more from her flocks of over 100 chickens, turkeys, ducks, and more.
Due to familial responsibility, she returned to the US in October of 2018 and has been living in Westchester County, New York, with her partner, Guy, and some furry four leggers. She is now located in Windham County, Vermont where she is available for garden consultations.
